Stories are one of the ways we share ourselves with one another. They connect with us differently than just information about each other. For me they reveal more about a person, and provide different ways for us to understand emotionally and mentally what our stories mean.
We are each creating a story by the thoughts we have, the words we speak, and the actions we take. These are not done in complete isolation, so the relationships we have, and people around us are a part of our stories. Sometimes in ways we know nothing about.
I’ve shared several stories for all of us to enjoy. Over time they will most likely increase in variety. For the most part a common thread will continue to be our relationship with God, and through Him, one another.
It was my blessing to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior when seven years old. So, there’s lots of stories about God’s work in my life, my mistakes, and all those times of pushing to do what had to be so right, when it was absolutely wrong.
More stories will be added later, but my hope is you’ll find what’s here interesting and inspiring. They’re all an accurate representation of events as best as my memory allows. No fiction is included.
Most of all, my prayer is that God will use these stories to draw us all closer to Him. God is so wonderful! It’s amazing how He can use a story. The ways God creates stories through us, about His relationship with us, is fantastic.
God Loves us so much. May the Lord be glorified as His Love is demonstrated through each of us.
