This is a place for us to explore together various thoughts, ideas, and scriptures. Hopefully, this will be a journey of discovery for all of us including myself. What is shared here are discoveries made during my own journey with the Lord. It has been filled with great adventures while seeking God’s Truth.
Each book, or other form of sharing included here all have the same purpose. To give to others faithfully, and obediently what God has given to me. My writing, to the best of my ability, has been in obedience to the Lord.
Does this mean only my thoughts are represented exclusively? No, that’s an impossibility for any of us. Anyone writing anything must draw from their wealth of experiences, information, and understanding to conceive of what will be written. Just think of all the people, places, animals, books, and many other sources that constitute that wealth within each of us.
Of course, what’s here is written from my perspective derived from my relationship with God. It’s impossible to express how much I hope what’s being shared is from the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Do I trust myself? No, I trust God and have endeavored to explore with the Lord all elements of the work shared here. What is shared has been carefully written, reconsidered, and reviewed many times.
Still my confidence is high that grammatical errors, misplaced words, and misunderstandings on my part can be found by others. Revisions, including additions, will be made over time and the new versions made available. So, please share any suggestions with me through comments. Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions.
This process has taken many years. Over time God has taught me to see differently as I’ve allowed Him to show me what needed to be unlearned, and let go. Then my mind could grasp His simple Truth already within me by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
My trust is placed in God to use what’s here as a place for discovery of things He desires to share with all of us. Without that trust and God’s continuous compelling nothing could, or would’ve been written by me. It’s beyond me why the Lord has been so patient with me, putting up with my foolishness.
What’s here comes from times of prayer, study, relationships, and experiences with a massive dose of learning things the hard way. God has always been so loving toward me regardless of my ignorance, times of ignoring Him, and a long list of sins that could fill many books.
The more I know, the more I understand how many sins are a part of my past. Also, how many can be a part of my future if not obedient unto the Lord.
It’s a part of our state of being as people. We all share this together. So, clearly what’s shared is not written from some sense of moral, intellect, or perceived high-ground.
My prayer is that God’s will shall be done within each of us as He provides part of the understanding we need as we go on this journey together. Only He can clear away the chaff of my mistakes, and set apart the thoughts that He wants to share with each of us. May we each hear Him, grow in our relationship with Him, and obey God because we’ve learned to love Him more and more.
Spirals of Life in Christ
Have any of us ever looked for patterns we can practice to grow in Christ within the scriptures? My relationships with Native People of the United States provided a different path for the Holy Spirit to help me to find these. My personal experience is they really work. My hope in Christ is the Holy Spirit will use these Spirals of Life to help all of us.
